Community Guidelines
Hoorly is an 18+ LGBTQ+ dating and social discovery space. These rules explain how we keep the app safer, respectful and usable for everyone.
These guidelines are operational community rules for Hoorly. They do not replace our Terms or Privacy Policy and should be reviewed before public launch.
1. Be 18 or older
Hoorly is only for adults. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Any content involving minors, sexualized minors or attempts to contact minors is prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
2. Respect consent and boundaries
- Do not pressure, threaten, shame or manipulate anyone into chatting, meeting, sharing photos or sexual activity.
- If someone says no, stops replying, blocks you or asks you to stop, respect it immediately.
- Do not share private chats, private photos, location details or personal information without permission.
3. No harassment, hate or discrimination
Hate speech, slurs, intimidation, outing, targeted harassment, threats, bullying and dehumanizing language are not allowed. This includes attacks based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, body type, HIV status, age or nationality.
4. Profile, photo and public content rules
- Use your own photos and accurate profile information. Do not impersonate another person or organization.
- Public profile photos, usernames, bios, posts and stories must not contain explicit sexual content, graphic violence or hateful symbols.
- Private adult conversations are allowed only when lawful, consensual and between adults.
- Non-consensual intimate images, sexual exploitation, trafficking, sexual services, blackmail and revenge porn are prohibited.
5. Safety, scams and spam
- Do not ask for money, gifts, bank details, passwords, verification codes or crypto investments.
- Do not use fake accounts, bots, phishing links, mass messages or misleading promotions.
- Do not promote illegal drugs, weapons sales, violence, self-harm instructions or dangerous activity.
6. Location and privacy
Never expose someone else's address, workplace, real-time location, phone number, social account or identity documents. Use Hoorly privacy controls such as blocking, location hiding and distance controls when you need more privacy.
7. Reporting and blocking
If something feels unsafe, block the user and report the profile or content in the app. Reports help us review abuse, spam, impersonation, illegal content and safety concerns. In emergencies, contact local emergency services first.
8. Moderation actions
Hoorly may remove content, limit features, request verification, hide accounts, suspend accounts or permanently close accounts when these guidelines or our Terms are violated. Severe or illegal behavior may lead to immediate removal.
9. Appeals and support
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, contact support@hoorly.com. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@hoorly.app.
