Community Guidelines
Hoorly is an 18+ LGBTQ+ dating, chat and social discovery platform. These Community Guidelines apply to all users, all content and all interactions on the Service. By using Hoorly, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or permanent termination.
1. Age Requirement
Hoorly is strictly limited to adults aged 18 and older. You must not:
- Create an account if you are under 18 years of age.
- Post, share, request or distribute any content depicting or involving minors in any context — including clothed images, age-play references, or fictional depictions.
- Attempt to contact, groom, solicit or communicate with anyone you know or suspect to be a minor.
Any content or behavior involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children (CSAM/CSAE) will result in immediate permanent account termination and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and applicable law-enforcement authorities, in accordance with applicable law.
2. Consent and Boundaries
Respect is the foundation of every interaction on Hoorly. You must:
- Respect when someone says no, stops replying, blocks you or asks you to stop. Comply immediately.
- Never pressure, coerce or manipulate another user into communication, sharing photos, meeting in person or engaging in sexual activity.
- Never share, forward, screenshot or distribute another user's private messages, photos or personal information without their explicit consent.
- Never send unsolicited intimate or sexual images unless the recipient has clearly indicated willingness to receive such content.
3. Hate Speech and Discrimination
Hoorly has zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment and discrimination. You must not use Hoorly to:
- Attack, demean, dehumanize or incite violence against any individual or group based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, body type, HIV/STI status, age or any other characteristic.
- Use slurs, derogatory language or hateful symbols in your profile, messages, posts or stories.
- Promote, glorify or affiliate with hate groups, extremist organizations or violent ideologies.
4. Harassment, Threats and Violence
You must not:
- Threaten, intimidate, stalk or bully any user, whether on or off the platform.
- Engage in targeted harassment campaigns, including coordinating with others to report, mass-message or otherwise abuse another user.
- Post content that glorifies, incites or threatens real-world violence.
- Make credible threats of harm to yourself or others. If we believe someone is in immediate danger, we may contact emergency services.
5. Authentic Profiles
Hoorly requires authentic profiles. You must:
- Use photos that accurately represent you. At least one photo must clearly show your face (unless you use the "Private Verified" feature).
- Provide accurate information about your age. Misrepresenting your age — particularly to appear younger than 18 — is a bannable offense.
- Not impersonate another person, celebrity, public figure or brand.
- Not create fake, misleading or deceptive profiles, including catfishing.
- Not operate multiple accounts. One account per person.
6. Content Standards
6.1 Profile Photos and Public Content
Profile photos, posts and stories are visible to other users and must comply with the following rules (see our Photo Guidelines for clear examples):
- No full nudity, exposed genitalia or sexually explicit imagery in profile photos, posts or stories.
- No hateful, violent, gory or disturbing imagery.
- No watermarks, advertisements or commercial solicitation.
- No content that infringes on the intellectual-property rights of others.
6.2 Private Messages
Lawful, consensual conversations between adults are permitted in private messages. However, sharing non-consensual intimate images, CSAM, or illegal content is prohibited regardless of context.
6.3 Private Album
The private album feature allows you to share additional photos with specific users who request access. Private album content is subject to the same rules as other content: no illegal material, no content involving minors, no non-consensual imagery.
7. Financial Scams and Fraud
You must not use Hoorly to:
- Request or solicit money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, banking details, passwords or financial information from other users.
- Operate phishing schemes, advance-fee fraud, romance scams or investment schemes.
- Promote, sell or distribute illegal goods or services.
- Send spam, bulk messages, automated messages or unsolicited commercial communications.
8. Privacy and Doxxing
Protecting user privacy is critical. You must not:
- Share, publish or expose another user's real name, home address, workplace, school, phone number, email address, real-time location or identity documents without their explicit consent.
- "Out" another user's sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status to third parties.
- Use information obtained through Hoorly to harass, threaten, blackmail or endanger any person in the real world.
9. Self-Harm and Dangerous Activities
Hoorly does not permit content that promotes, glorifies or instructs self-harm, suicide, eating disorders or other dangerous behaviors. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline.
10. Drugs and Controlled Substances
You must not use Hoorly to buy, sell, distribute, promote or solicit illegal drugs, controlled substances, or prescription medications. References to drug use in profiles or messages should not constitute solicitation or distribution.
11. Commercial Activity and Solicitation
Hoorly is a social platform, not a marketplace. You must not use Hoorly to:
- Advertise, promote or sell products, services, events or other commercial offerings without our prior written consent.
- Recruit users for other platforms, services or apps.
- Solicit escort services, sex work or paid companionship.
12. Platform Integrity
You must not:
- Use bots, scripts, scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools to access or interact with the Service.
- Attempt to circumvent, disable or interfere with moderation, safety, security or technical features.
- Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities or technical errors for personal advantage.
- Abuse the report, block or verification systems (e.g., filing false reports to harass another user).
13. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please report it immediately:
- In-app: Tap the "..." or report button on any profile, message, post or story.
- E-mail: support@hoorly.com
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We do not disclose the identity of the reporting user to the reported user. False or abusive reporting is itself a violation of these Guidelines.
14. Enforcement
Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity and history of the violation:
- Content removal: The offending content is removed or hidden.
- Warning: A formal warning is issued to the account holder.
- Temporary suspension: The account is suspended for a fixed period (e.g., 7 days).
- Permanent termination: The account is permanently closed without the possibility of reinstatement.
- Law-enforcement referral: Illegal activity (including CSAM, credible threats and fraud) is reported to the appropriate authorities.
We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to protect the safety and integrity of the Hoorly community, including actions not listed above.
15. Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may submit an appeal to support@hoorly.com within 30 days of the enforcement action. Include your username and a description of why you believe the action was taken in error. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and our decision is final.
16. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Your continued use of Hoorly after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
